John Watkins, born 1695 in Henrico County, Virginia, mar-rled Elizabeth Sulllvan(t). He inherited at least a part of "Mawbourne Hills". He also had 63 acres on Lynhaven River.

John was selling 100 acres of a place "called Mal-born Hills and joining the lands whereon Stephen Woodson now lives, being the land and Plantation where Henry Watkins father of said John Watkins, and Henry Watkins the grandfather of said John Watkins dwelt the last part of their lives...

This indenture was proved in open court the 1st Monday in Dec., 1737. In the grandfather's will it was for-
bidden to sell or mortgage any part or all of the place.

son, Nathaniel, 400 acres near Green Creek, Joining Squire Randolph's land in Goochland County
