Reverand Richard Olmstead was at one time Rector of Arwarton County, Suffolk. He was Chaplin to Lord Loftus in Ireland in 1630 and later Rector of Dunnington, near Famingham, about 90 miles from London. In Dunnington Rectory is painted the Olmstead coat of arms.
