She went to Denver, Colorado on October 12, 1952, hoping to be benefitted by the climate.
In 1934, with her mother and siter, Ellen, she lfeft Kahoka going to El Dorado Springs, Missouri where she lived for many years. About 1950 she moved to Leavenworth, KS to live with her mother and sister.
Although never being strong, she had rheumatic fever when about fifteen, which lfeft her with a rheumatic heart and astimas. She was always cheerful, never complaining although being fully aware of her condition. |
