Indenture William Witt

THIS INDENTURE of Sale made twenty fity day of March anno Dominy one thousand Seven Hundred thirty and Eight by and Between William Matlock of the Parrish of Saint James and County of Goochland of the one part and Willm Witt of the same Parrish and County of the orther part Witnesseth that the said William Matlock for divors good Causes and Considerations him hearto waving but more Especially for the Sum of fiften pounds Currant money to him in hand payed by the said William Witt the receip of…heirs by and myself therewith fully Satisfied Contented and paid. I have Bargained and Sold and doe by these Presents Bargain Sell and firmyly make from me and my Heirs for ever to him the said William Witt and his heirs for ever one Certain parcell of Land to Contayn two hundred ackers lying and being in the Parrish and County aforesaid and Lying on the North side of the North fork of James River and further known by the bounds as follows which this Beginning is at a large Sickamore Standing Upon the River bank thence Up by the Neanders of the said River to the mouth of the Gutt to a Corner Red Oak thence back to a Corner Red oak to a Corner white Oak Upon Ballinger Creek thence to the Sickamore Upon the River at the Beginning According to the…In Patent for the same Relation being thereto had will more fully appears. To have and to hold the said Land and Premises with all the appurtances Comodities whatever with all Woods Underwoods orchards wayes waters, water and all other Previledges thereto for Ever to the Said William Witt his heirs and assigns for Ever Peacably and Quietly to hold & to Occupy Poses and Enjoy the land and every part thereof forever and I the said Willm Matlock do Oblige my Self that at the hearof I have a good Rite in fee Simple to the above Land and Premises, and will with Kattrn my now wife Acknolegin this my Sale In Open Cort of this County at the said William Witt Request as Witness my hand and Seale In the day and year above.

William Matlock Acknowledged this Deed from himself to William Witt to his Act and Deed and it was there upon Ordered to be Recorded.
