| Henry Watkins, born 1585 in Wales, arrived in Virginia earlier, for in 1621 he was a member of the General Assembly, House of Burgesses at Jamestown. Records show him in Accomas County, Virginia, before 1621. After the great Indian Massacre on March 22, 1621, when colonists were slaughtered by the Indians. Henry was on the "Eastern Shore" where he was living in 1623. He was overseer for Lady Dale, the window of Governor Thomas Dale. He had at least four sons. | ||||||||||
